It is through living one's life journey, experiencing the agony and ecstasy of relationships, feelings, pain, healing and love that the soul evolves and humankind begins to awaken to its Divine nature and to the experience of Oneness. My life journey as daughter, grand-daughter, wife, mother, family member, enemy and friend provided me with unlimited opportunities to learn unconditional love and forgiveness. My children became my greatest teachers. My love of nature, books, music, science, poetry, children and art opened me to connection with the Angels and the Other Side and the Divine in all things including myself. Inspiration brought me peace, wisdom, joy and awareness that I share in my poetry, inspirational books, and CDs. Inspiration paved the way for my passions to teach spiritual bead art, to mentor writers and artists, to assist authors in marketing their books around the world, to create inspirational books and CDs to inspire others. I continue to follow my heart, to give gratitude for all things in my life and to trust that "ALL IS WELL - no matter what it looks like." Susan E. McGarry is the third rector of St. Aidan's. Prior to her ministry here, Susan served parishes and university chaplaincies in Michigan and Ohio. She is a graduate of the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1979. Susan is also a PhD candidate in Ancient and Biblical Studies at U of M. Susan serves St. Aidans as our worship leader, preacher, teacher, and is available for pastoral services. St. Aidan's Episcopal Church is committed to experiencing and demonstrating God's love through Eucharistic worship, prayer, study, and action. We strive to be a nurturing, spiritual Christian community, strengthened by the participation of our members, the example of our youth, and our collaboration with our sister congregation, Northside Presbyterian Church.
