Alternate Theory

There is good news in that there is a Divine Plan in place, which any and all of us may tap into if we so desire. This plan works hand-in-hand with the mechanics of the universe and evolution. The story of Jesus was given to us as a preview of coming attractions and reference point for understanding this plane of existence and Spiritual Workings. The concept is simple if we accept that we are nothing more or less than Divinity’s interface into this material plane. As a spiritual being in symbiotic relationship with a human body, our primary function at this time is to choose to follow the plan or not.
In the early eighties on a lonely German back-road, Craig, like so many people who find themselves in a vulnerable position, made a deal with God. As the subcompact car rolled over his head struck the roof and while sustaining his full body weight the metal buckled into his scalp resounding a sickening sound of vertebrae compressing in his neck. Upright again Craig trapped and unable to feel his legs, realized he was really hurt. It was then he petitioned God, “If you get me out of this, I will dedicate my life to you.” More than a decade later he made good his part of the supplication, manifesting the real power in those words.
In November 1993, Suzzan stood in a Psychiatrist’s office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and murmured the words: “Something momentous is going to happen to me. I have something important to do.” It was the first inkling that she may have a destiny. For Suzzan’s part, she did not have a clue what the statement in the office meant, or where it would lead. Now, over ten years later, after many “adventures” and endless hours of studying both Craig and Suzzan have a clearer understanding of their mission.
A crucial moment for Craig and
Suzzan in their studying came when God led them to the Gnostic teachings and
they embraced the existence of multiple layers within the Spirit and Soul plane.
Gradually over the years the couple uncovered a very different
interpretation of biblical events. One
of the most startling pieces of information God guided them to was that the Old
Testament was also multifaceted, with one of the layers possibly being a
historical record of several major cataclysms.
Another amazing discovery was that the Human Race might have been
genetically altered by an alien race. All
of these discoveries have been covered in their second book Love the Common
Denominator: My Journey to the Truth and the third book The True
Philosophers’ Stone. What
Craig and Suzzan want to discuss here is their understanding of the New
Testament and the part some main characters played in humanity’s evolution.
THE BEGINNING
The gospels of Mark and John begin with the Holy Spirit entering Jesus the Christ, at his baptism. Likewise we feel that it is appropriate to start at the beginning, but is that the real beginning of the story? The Gnostic teachers would answer with an emphatic No! They would tell us the beginning of Christ’s entering this realm started with the fall of Sophia/Wisdom (herein after referred to as Sophia), the feminine side of the last pair of the Pleroma emanated. At this point, we feel it may be beneficial to relate what God told us about the Divine realm. “It is impossible for the human brain to comprehend how spiritual forces operate.” We can only identify with spiritual operation by relating to concepts we do comprehend. In point of fact it wasn’t until the recent discovery of quantum physics that we began to understand energy, atoms and chemical forces. When the Gnostic teacher Valentinus wrote The Gospel of Truth, around nineteen hundred years ago, humanity didn’t even understand electricity, let alone atomic and sub-atomic particles. Consequently, the Gnostics tried to use terms that their contemporaries would understand. These analogies in no way meant that they saw the Divine realm the same as the mythical demigods that the Greeks thought resided on Mount Olympus. In addition we need to state that although we refer to God in masculine terms, this in no way means that we think of the Supreme Being as masculine. With this said, let us share what we came to understand about the Gnostic emanations and those that are brought forth.
Valentinus, that according to one report almost became pope before his separation from orthodoxy, tells us the problem started when Sophia went in search of her origin without her partner, which was referred to as (What-has-been-willed.) We wondered if “he” could be seen as the Divine Will? It may be helpful to first relate what the Valentinians taught of the Gnostic emanations.
We are grateful to Elaine Pagels for translating the teachings of the Valentinians into a cohesive understanding. Apparently the followers of Valentinus told a mythical story to explain the beginning of everything. The myth said that the First Father or Supreme Being desired to be known and so projected Himself into His consort, Silence, which brought forth two emanations, Mind (masculine) and Truth (feminine). This pair in turn brought forth, the Logos (masculine) and Life (feminine), who brought forth the pair Humanity (masculine) and Church (feminine). These six emanations, together with Silence and the Supreme Being made up what the Valentinians referred to as the Ogdoad (8). The pair Humanity and Church also brought forth a pair who subsequently emanated another pair. This continued until the Divine realm was complete. Eventually there were eleven pairs, who with the Ogdoad constituted the thirty members of the Pleroma. Each pair consisted of both masculine and feminine and worked in unison together.
As we said, the human mind can only conceive of Divine powers in the most vague of terms. That is why Jesus taught in parables and analogies. Our vocabulary is wholly inadequate. Consequently, to try to put the pairs of emanations into our frame of reference is extremely difficult. Even so, God explained to us that rather than seeing these pairs in terms of couples, we should regard them as pairs of opposites, such as active and passive or positive and negative. Unfortunately the word negative has become connected to anything evil, but negative here needs to be seen as analogous to, relatively speaking, the negative prong of an electrical appliance’s plug working in conjunction with the positive prong. Both the positive and negative prongs are needed for the appliance to operate. Another example of how the Divine potencies work together is the flower (passive) being pollinated by the bee (active); both depend on each other.
The feminine side of the last pair to be emanated was Sophia. Because she acted without her male partner, What-has-been-willed, she went against the natural order. In seeking the Supreme Being, she turned back and in the words of Valentinus, “Was in danger of being absorbed into the Father’s sweetness”. We understand it to mean that when she beheld the magnificence of God, she became mesmerized and moved to rejoin Him. This is akin to a moth flying too close to the flame. Like a moth gets destroyed or absorbed by the fire, Sophia was in danger of being annihilated. However, unlike the exposed flame, the Supreme Being is surrounded by a power, or in the modern vernacular, a force field that is referred to as the Limit. The difference between this force field and others was the Gnostic Limit had consciousness, therefore supported and restored Sophia to her rightful place within the Pleroma.
Unfortunately, the emotions (fear, grief, confusion and ignorance) Sophia experienced could not be absorbed into the Pleroma and were expelled from the Divine plane. This meant that she became separated from parts of herself. To use an analogy, this would be similar to a person having a gangrenous arm or leg amputated. Because Sophia was a member of the Pleroma, everything about her was infused with Divine power. So to avoid the rest of the Pleroma becoming contaminated, for want of a better description, a Veil was temporarily placed between the Divine realm and the part of Sophia that was expelled. To prevent it happening again, the Supreme Being emanated the Christ along with his partner the Holy Spirit to teach the members of the Pleroma of their progenitor.
Humanity has retained the memory of the union between the emanations through the myths and legends of creator gods and goddesses. These deities are known by different names throughout the world, such as; Shakti and Shiva, El and Astarte or Ashteroth, Baal and Baalti, and Zeus and Hera. Gradually the populations divided these pairs into sun/sky-gods and earth-goddesses. Civilizations that used brute force to rule and conquer their neighbors, gravitated to the veneration of “sun/sky-gods,” which they saw demonstrated their power through eclipses and thunderbolts. Tribal communities that relied on their survival by cooperation with “Mother Nature” came to venerate the feminine side of deity through the goddess. Regardless of later civilizations giving predominance to the male gods, the creative forces were always seen as dual. The concept of rulers as king and queen and emperor and empress, also reflected the union of the members of the Pleroma.
To write of the “birth” of Divine powers, puts the process in some kind of sequential order. We live in a linear universe; however, this is only experienced beneath the Veil. There is no past, present or future above the Veil. There is only NOW. Consequently, the Supreme Being emanating the Christ and the Holy Spirit would have happened simultaneously with the other emanations.
Because the Supreme Being emanated the Christ and the Holy Spirit they were superior, so to speak, to the other members of the Pleroma. In fact, this is where the concept of the Trinity comes in; the Father (Supreme Being), the Son (the Christ) and the daughter (the Holy Spirit.) The term “only-begotten” is only applied to the Christ and has caused more confusion over the person of Jesus than any other designation. It has been interpreted as not born from God, but a part of God. God had told us the key to the mysteries is hidden in our language (English). This key can be applied to help us understand the difference between the Christ and Holy Spirit and the other members of the Pleroma. The members of the Ogdoad had resulted through the First Father/Supreme Being “projecting” Himself into His Consort, Silence. If we remember that a projector is used to “project” images onto a screen, we can see the difference. The word “emanates” means to bring forth from the source. In other words, the Christ and Holy Spirit, rather than being a projection or “image” of the Supreme Being, they were of His substance. Despite the Church making the Holy Spirit masculine, as the partner of the Christ, she was feminine. Hence the Holy Spirit could be thought of as the “only begotten” daughter of the Supreme Being.
All of the above is very hard to understand in scientific terms, however, God told us if instead of names like First Father, Silence and Limit we think in terms of frequencies as in light, sound, vibration, and molecular bonds, then it becomes closer to today’s scientific view. We will return to this concept later.
Desiring to rescue or recover her lost aspects, Sophia united with the Christ. Ptolemy, a successor to Valentinus taught that Sophia and the Christ transformed her fear into water, her grief into air, her confusion into earth and her ignorance into fire. These four elements were then used to create everything in the universe.
Earlier we discussed how the Human Race had retained the knowledge of the masculine and feminine powers by the worshipping of male and female “gods and goddesses.” You may have noticed that in the list of deities we didn’t include Osiris and Isis that is because they were actual historical figures. Also Isis represented Sophia and Osiris signified the Christ. There was a legend that Isis with her consort, Osiris corrected the watchers mistake with humanity. In Love the Common Denominator, Osiris was included in the Christ-like teachers and we demonstrated that the rituals and rites of Isis were adapted into Mariolatry, the worship of Mary the mother of Jesus. In addition, we had discovered through our studying that Isis was known not only Osiris’ wife but also his sister. Abraham and Sarah reflected this and this is why in many ancient civilizations the rulers were often brother and sister.
Even though we have been speaking of Sophia in feminine terms “she” shouldn’t be seen as a goddess. God had said that humanity is destined to unite the opposites: darkness and light, male and female and spirit and matter. So to think of the Gnostic emanations in terms of male and female could be an error. Rather, it would be more appropriate to think of them as androgynous. We had found it interesting to learn that the Greek term for spirit is pneuma, which is neuter, neither masculine nor feminine, but both.
The elements of the universe made from Sophia’s (emotions) Divine residue became immersed in the Life Principle and lay dormant waiting to be awakened. So the seemingly interminable cycles of evolution began to transmute the elements (emotions) back into Spirit.
Due to the elements containing Sophia’s essence, they were of a dual nature, spiritual and material. They also contained both intelligence from Nous or Mind and the energy of life from Life. And so to redeem her residue, the Demiurge, was brought forth by Sophia and the Christ. The Demiurge, which the Gnostics called Ialdaboath, was the Creator and God of the Old Testament and has been worshiped throughout the world under various names. Because the Creator/Demiurge was beneath the Veil a new realm was created known as the Soul realm, which encompassed multiple layers including the astral plane. Every being beneath the Veil became ensouled.
The Gnostics believed that the Creator remained ignorant of his true origins, which they think is evinced with his statement in the Old Testament, “I am a jealous God etc,” whereas Jesus taught us that the Heavenly Father was Love. The Demiurge/Creator’s role was as the Architect of the universe to administer evolution. He was unaware of the Divine sparks laying dormant in the elements, and so with the statement “Let there be Light” he unwittingly began the awakening of the sparks. Obviously the “Light” referred to in Genesis is not daylight or sunlight as this statement is made before the creation of the sun and moon or stars. We think the “Light” in Genesis should be seen in terms of Electricity. When we switch on the light in a darkened room we reveal the contents. In other words through the senses we become aware of the contents of the room. Even a blind person uses his or her senses of touch, smell and hearing to determine their surroundings. Consequently, if we connect Light with the enlivening of the Life Principle encased within the elements, then the Big Bang can also be associated with this event.
It may also help to think of the Divine sparks, dormant within the elements in terms of the sparks that fly off from a bonfire. They have no volition of their own and are completely at the “mercy” of the wind. The bonfire would represent the Supreme Being, however, the sparks that fly off into the night become separated from it. Many New Age philosophers teach that each human being is Divine and therefore does not need any Divine help. In a way they are correct. Every member of the Human Race is born with the potential of awakening the Divine spark within him or her. But, and this is a big but until they give up thinking of themselves as separate individuals with complete autonomy, they are like the single spark that flies off into the night, they will eventually cease to shine.
Because the sparks immersed in the elements came from above the Veil, they had the capacity to co-create. All they waited for was the development of the intellect, which occurred with the development of Homo Sapien Sapiens, which enabled the Life Principle to access Mind/Nous to make this a reality.
THE AWAKENING
Our Solar system was chosen as the arena for the recovery of the Divine sparks through evolution of the Life principle, which the sparks are immersed within. The sparks became the spirit within all life, both incarnate and disincarnate. As stated in order for the sparks to gain understanding the Life principle had to develop intellect. Esoteric teaching said that the Life principle moves through the mineral, vegetable, animal, before becoming human. All Life is conscious, but not all living/conscious beings are capable of rational thought. Let’s examine each category. Most people think of the mineral kingdom as inert matter, but minerals such as crystals grow and do not remain stagnant. Does this mean that minerals are alive? The first category that many scientists acknowledge as sentient or living is the plant kingdom. Plants are conscious and some people believe that because they are sentient, plants can feel pain.
Included in the next category are insects. Colonies of ants and bees do not live individual lives but rather instinctually act for the good of the hive/hill/nest. Initially the animal kingdom; such as packs of wolves, hyenas and wild dogs, and herds of antelopes, zebra and wildebeests are instinctually repeating this behavior. Nevertheless, the goal of evolution is to drive the Life Principle to individuality. The first sign of this is the appearance of family/blood groups and continues to develop in the animal kingdom through species like the big cats, such as tigers and leopards. The ultimate individualism came when the Life principle evolved into the Human Race. This is when evolution took a huge leap. The allegory of Adam and Eve becoming aware that they were naked symbolized this. Also, the imbibing of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, apart from relating to the Life principle gaining intellect, as well as the ability to discern right from wrong, also demonstrated the ability of self or individual awareness. What we were surprised to learn recently was that the Divine forces above the Veil were waiting, so to speak, for the development of the Life Principle into human beings.
Like every other living being beneath the Veil, the Life Principle slowly developed souls as vehicles for the Divine sparks. Each soul was the instrument the Life Principle used to evolve, however, it was only with the advent of the individual human being that the soul could come into play. When the Life Principle developed intellect by becoming human, it could then begin the process of spiritualizing the elements, to return the sparks or residue of Sophia to Spirit.
The Appendix on The Relevance Of The Doctrines Of Rounds And Root-Races Today in the 2nd book Love the Common Denominator and the 3rd book The True Philosophers’ Stone stated that the separation of the sexes occurred during the 3rd Root-race. Genesis chapter one reports the creation of the Human Race. The scripture says, “created He them male and female.” This would appear to mean that not only the creation of human beings had occurred before Adam and Eve, but also like the Divine emanations they were androgynous. So what does the story of Adam and Eve mean? We believe one of the multiple meanings is relating the separation of the sexes. The allegory of Eve being created from a rib of Adam is a metaphor for this. Interestingly the name Eve in Hebrew means Life, as reported in the second appendix in Love the Common Denominator. Remembering that Life’s partner was the Logos and that they were members of the Ogdoad, was the writer of Genesis trying to impart yet more secret information by calling “the first woman” Eve? Some people have interpreted the name of Adam to mean the element earth. Tradition has that Eve came from a rib of Adam, but curiously, we learned recently that one school of thought replaces the rib with the heart.
Life is in a manner of speaking the ancestor of Sophia. Recalling that Sophia’s emotions were transformed into the elements of the universe, could one of the meanings of the allegory of Eve being taken from Adam be that the Spirit of Wisdom, Life is within matter? As stated evolution is the means used to redeem the lost essences or emotions of Sophia, and because the Life principle developed a soul, the Divine sparks became connected to the Soul Plane. The Divine spark now became the Spirit encased in the vehicle of the soul. While in the temporary vehicle, the Divine spark or Spirit’s role was through intellect, to understand the Truth that the individual spirit’s destiny is to reunite with the All, the Supreme Being.
Esoteric teaching tells us that three of the seven bodies that make up the human being are souls. These souls are animal, human and spiritual. Is Genesis relating the insertion of the spiritual soul when it records that after the Lord breathed Life into Adam he became a living soul? Again, obviously Life cannot mean literal life, as it already existed. However, if we remember that Life was the partner of the Logos and these two were members of the first eight or Ogdoad, then we can see the possibility that the higher spiritual forces were acting through the Creator/Demiurge to infuse humankind with the spiritual soul. In addition, is it a coincidence that humanity is the only species on the planet to possess fully articulate speech? Considering that Life’s partner is the Logos, which is also known as the Word, is it surprising that humankind developed the ability to converse with one another? It is by the secret oral teachings handed down through the generations that the Truth has survived. Nonetheless, like many gifts, they are double-edged swords. The ability to speak allows for the Truth to be communicated throughout the ages. Conversely, because we are co-creators, humanity’s words have power and depending on the intent can be either benevolent as in prayers and blessings or malevolent as in curses and condemnations.
With evolution, everything was progressing according to plan until the unforeseen event occurred. At this point it may help to explain that although the development of the universe had resulted in multiple worlds, some with intelligent life, only the Life Principle of the Solar system contains the Divine sparks of Sophia, therefore the Spirit of the Supreme Being.
Ever since Roswell, people have speculated over whether or not there is intelligent life elsewhere in the galaxy. With the numerous reports of alien sightings, we concluded that all the witnesses couldn’t be delusional; therefore there was something to the phenomena. Throughout the sixties, seventies and eighties, reports have centered on people being abducted. Recently, many authors related contact with extraterrestrials through meditation and channeling. The first thing we wondered was why an obviously advanced species would be interested in the Human Race? If the sightings and contacts are anything to go by, the alien vehicles are way beyond our current technology. So if they have nothing to learn from human beings, why the interest?
The answer as to why the aliens are interested in humanity comes with understanding the make-up of a human being. Recalling that all the elements in the universe were created from Sophia’s rejected emotions, we can see the reason. As stated, only the Life Principle within our Solar system contains the Divine sparks and until they developed intellect through the Human Race, the Divine power was unavailable. The power became accessible through human emotions. In reading the numerous channeled books purporting that some outside force was going to save humanity, one aspect kept repeating itself. What these “benevolent” beings want from the humanity is their emotions. It is through humanity’s emotions that the real Divine power is discovered.
Gautama Buddha taught that suffering releases the soul from samsara, or the cycle of rebirth/reincarnation. This statement has generally been thought to mean that life on Earth was meant to be painful. Only after death could a soul find happiness. As the majority of people’s lives were a constant struggle, this gave them hope that their suffering would be rewarded after death. Even so, when we remember that the universe consists of Sophia’s emotions a deeper meaning of Gautama’s teachings is revealed. The Life Principle of the Solar system was chosen as the way to redeem the lost essence or Divine sparks. Redemption is achieved through the Life Principle in the form of humanity transmuting their emotions. It isn’t the suffering that releases the Spirit or Divine sparks, but the emotions the suffering generates. Whenever a person transmutes their emotions, they help change the world.
The unforeseen event, as recorded in the appendix on The Relevance Of The Doctrines Of Rounds And Root-Races Today, was the genetic manipulation of the Earth’s native species. At this time the Creator/Demiurge had created an infrastructure that governed the evolution of the soul. In this system, the Divine sparks through evolution, were slowly re-accessing their spiritual origins. This infrastructure included archons, astrological powers, and archangels. The Creator/Demiurge had become the impartial judge of the universe, where free will was sacrosanct. The unforeseen event as was stated in the aforementioned appendix, was the human race taking on alien DNA, which meant the Human Race did not gradually incorporate and transmute the negative emotions of Sophia; instead, humanity was suddenly thrust forward in an unbalanced existence. This resulted in the infusion of the counterfeit spirit, which was known as the lower ego. The appendix also related that it wasn’t until the Creator/Demiurge adopted mercy that other Divine forces could become involved. Another word for mercy is compassion, and that is the epitome of the Christ and so by adopting mercy, the Creator/Demiurge facilitated the entry of the Christ into our plane. Because the Christ had united with Sophia, they entered this realm together. They did this in order to teach the human race of their spiritual origins, which was accomplished with the instigation of the Wisdom Religion. The Wisdom Religion was taught through teachers such as Krishna, Pythagoras, Socrates, Confucius and Gautama Buddha, infused with the Christ and Sophia energy combination. Surprisingly, they were most successful when they inspired an individual. Whenever either the Christ or Sophia actually entered a teacher it took more time. First they would have to overcome the ego and animal instincts before bringing their chosen vessel to enlightenment, the long path Siddhartha took to become Gautama Buddha is evidence of this.
The Divine sparks or Spirit of Wisdom is hidden within the Life principle, which is encased within the soul. The human conscience began with humanity’s development of a spiritual soul, which the allegory of Adam becoming a living soul could be reporting. This was done to assist the human race as the redeemers of the Divine sparks. It was also important to keep in mind two things; one is that the substance that needs redemption is made up of Sophia’s emotions. The second point is that humanity has the capacity to create. This they do through their imagination, which in conjunction with their emotions and intent co-creates this reality.
As previously stated in the aforementioned appendix, when the Human Race was interfered with, the Creator/Demiurge had acted by reducing the life span and creating the Wheel of Necessity or the Law of Karma. It was also stated that the Creator/Demiurge determined to send a messiah to save the human race, a chosen soul. The soul that was to sacrifice his life was born as the man Jesus. The sacrifice was required because as the judge of the Law the Creator/Demiurge could not absolve the Law of Karma. Although the law had been put in place in order to assist humanity, because of the aspect of an eye for an eye or retaliation, it had become a vicious cycle where revenge was seen as justice. That is why a “sacrificial lamb” was required to absolve the retaliatory part of the law. The Creator tried to teach his children that they should leave the business of vengeance up to him, with his statement “Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord, I will repay.” Unfortunately, humanity wanted injustice eradicated and until they developed mercy could not conceive of the concept that kindness and compassion could “heap fiery coals” on their antagonist’s head. As stated, the Christ-Sophia unity had already entered the world in the form of Christ-like teachers. The powers of the Soul Plane were unaware of this as the Christ-Sophia entry was concealed from them.
This is where the main characters enter the story. In our studies we had learned that the early church searched the scriptures to find all references to the messiah and applied them to Jesus. Unfortunately this led to the Church making him larger than life, with the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. Alas with this doctrine, Jesus has been removed from us. By making him God, many people cannot accept his statement that everything he did we could do and more.
A key element of the infancy narratives was to incorporate the fulfillment of the prophecy in Hosea 11:1, which said the father’s son, would be called out of Egypt. Let’s suppose for the sake of argument that the prophecy is relating to the messiah. If we accept this then, is the gospel of Matthew narrative correct? We would have to say NO, because our studies have revealed that the infancy stories were concocted in order to link Jesus to Moses.
Many scholars have hypothesized that Jesus was initiated into the Egyptian mystery schools. What if he had been born in Egypt rather than Nazareth or Bethlehem? It would certainly explain some of the mysterious incidences in the gospels. History records that many Jews settled in Alexandria, Egypt after they returned from exile. In Alexandria were several mystery schools, such as Isis, Dionysus and Hermes. Isn’t it possible that some of those Jews could have been exposed to these mystery or esoteric schools?
There are several writings that point to Jesus and John the Baptist being members of an ascetic Essene sect. We had been surprised to discover that the sect of Essenes wasn’t restricted to only an ascetic enclave whose remnants have been found in Qumran, near the Dead Sea. Apparently the Essenes also had a following within the general Jewish population and counted whole families as members.
There has been much speculation as to where Jesus was before his baptism by John, with some proposing that he was in India, while others favor him originating from Egypt. If we dismiss the infancy narratives (found in Matthew and Luke) along with the story of Jesus in the temple at the age of twelve, then two of the gospels (Mark and John) have Jesus suddenly appearing at the river Jordan around the age of thirty. However, if we take into consideration the other writings, then maybe we can offer another explanation of the contradictions within the gospels. So with this premise in mind, we would like to present a different hypothesis for your consideration.
THE CALLING
Our hypothesis has Jesus growing up in Alexandria with no idea that he was destined to be the prophesized Jewish messiah. As an adolescent he entered the mystery school of Isis and was eventually initiated by the high priestess and trained in the arts of alchemy and magic. His training explains some of the more mysterious events, such as recorded in John 8:59 where when the Pharisees tried to stone him, he escaped by becoming invisible to them.
At the same time as Jesus was being trained in Egypt, his cousin John had entered an ascetic Essene community. While he was there John received a vision informing him that he was to prepare the way for the messiah. At the time he did not know that the messiah was his cousin Jesus. More than likely he told his teachers about the vision, but because the Essene leaders were waiting for Elijah to return and John didn’t fit the expected profile his revelations were not received well and he was told to forget the vision and continue his studies.
Preconceptions of even the most well intentioned people can be deadly to spiritual truth. If the people interpreting the Truth are not only wrong but also people in powerful positions, then it is near impossible for anyone who offers a different interpretation to be accepted. Truth is absolute. It is only our capacity to understand the Truth that is dynamic. For example, the absolute Truth is that the planet Earth has always orbited the Sun. Yet, less than one millennia ago people in power decreed it was heresy to state this Truth. When Galileo dared to challenge this decree, he was accused of heresy, and after being forced to recant, died a broken man under house arrest. We were surprised to hear that the Pope has only recently exonerated Galileo by announcing that those who condemned him were wrong. This is a perfect demonstration of humanity’s dynamic ability to understand the Truth. Today because of knowledge of astronomy, Galileo can be proved right every time someone looks through a telescope.
Reminiscent of many people who have been called, John tried to obey his teacher’s instructions, but also like many prophets he could not ignore the vision. Meanwhile, in Alexandria, Jesus’ parents wanted their son to know his Essene heritage before he had to marry. (The Jewish custom was for a man to marry before his twentieth birthday.) Because a family member was already studying at an ascetic order, Jesus was sent to Palestine to join his cousin. Esoteric writings called The Essene Gospel of Peace and The Essene Jesus reports that Jesus became an Essene master.
Continuing with our hypothesis, John had tried to ignore his calling but it was too strong. Eventually unable to deny his destiny, John left the sect and went into the desert. Interestingly a documentary on the Dead Sea Scrolls said there were scrolls that recorded if a member of the community broke the rules, that member would be exiled and banished to the desert. Could this be why the gospel account of John states that John the Baptist survived in the desert by eating locusts and wild honey?
Ultimately John was inspired to teach of the repentance of sins and the coming messiah. He also started baptizing, as a symbol for a new life. As he was baptizing, he spoke of the different baptisms, telling them that he baptized with water but another, which he would identify would baptize with fire and the Holy Spirit. It was important for us to remember that John did not know that he was the reincarnation of Elijah. Like his cousin, Jesus was also driven to his destiny, arriving to be baptized by John. At the time, Jesus did not know that John was the reincarnation of Elijah and that he himself was the messiah, John spoke of. The Baptist had received a vision of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove alighting and remaining on the messiah, but he had not seen his face. The New Testament says that John recognized Jesus as the messiah before his baptism. All the same, we believe that it wasn’t until after Jesus arose from the water and John saw the dove descending on to him that he knew his cousin was the messiah. We cannot stress strongly enough that Jesus did not know John’s identity at the time of his baptism. Because John denied that he was Elijah, theologians use this to deny reincarnation. Still we need to remember that it was only after John had died and Jesus had experienced the transfiguration on the mountain that he understood both his and John’s role.
There has been much debate over what occurred at Jesus’ baptism. Earlier we stated that the Christ entered Jesus at his baptism, but that could be misleading. Remembering that the Christ-Sophia unity had secretly entered this world to reveal humanity’s true origins through Christ-like teachers, how do we explain this unique event? Understanding came with the information that the Christ had already entered Jesus before his baptism. If we dismiss the Immaculate Conception there are no extant writings that definitively state when Jesus became infused with the Christ. However, when we learned that the age of spiritual decision doesn’t occur until the individual has reached 21 years of age, we realized that it had to have been while he was with the Essenes. Many scholars have speculated over the identity of the teacher of righteousness mentioned in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Could Jesus have begun his ministry with the dualistic Essenes?
If we recall that Sophia and Christ caused the creation of both the Creator/Demiurge and the universe, and that the Christ’s partner is the Holy Spirit, then the episode at the baptism becomes clearer. The soul that was in Jesus was destined to be the prophesized Jewish messiah. The Christ and Sophia had chosen him to be the revealer of the Truth, and like all the other Christs, Jesus was destined to be anointed for the role. What happened at the baptism was, Christ’s partner the Holy Spirit joined the Christ creating a Divine power that could transform the man Jesus. It was also the unification of the Divine feminine, The Holy Spirit, with the Divine masculine, The Christ.
The vision of the pearl necklace recorded in the second book Love the Common Denominator demonstrated that the Christ had taught in various guises throughout the world. What wasn’t made known to us until later was that the Christ had united with Sophia to create the universe. Our studies had shown us that the common thread beneath all religions is the Wisdom Religion. This made perfect sense as in order for the Christ and Sophia to rescue the Divine sparks, they would need to teach humanity how to overcome the lower self or ego and bring forth the true spiritual self.
Despite the different Christs throughout history and the similarity of their message, we always felt that Jesus Christ was somehow different. It was by understanding the Gnostic teaching of Valentinus that we saw why we felt this way.
As previously stated, apart from the Supreme Being all emanations had been in pairs; incorporating both male and female energies. If we recall the whole thing began with Sophia separating from her partner, What has-been-willed. By the Holy Spirit (feminine) joining the Christ (masculine) in the man Jesus, the Divine Spirit within his soul was able to gain preeminence. But if the Christ and Sophia were united, was “she” in Jesus too? We received the answer when we learned there was a myth that said Sophia had incarnated into Mary Magdalene.
The New Testament records that Jesus was driven by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the Devil. However, we see this as an analogy of the true spirit of Jesus overcoming the counterfeit spirit or shadow side of his character. Every human being has to discover his or her Divine self. Each soul does this by identifying and overcoming his or her Achilles heel or weakness. Because of the kind of temptations Jesus faced, it appears that his weakness was pride. We realize that this sounds almost blasphemous, but if we accept that Jesus was a man who demonstrated to humanity that all must change the way they think (repent) to become their true spiritual selves with eyes opened, then all realize there is individual weakness that must be dealt with. Jesus wasn’t perfect. You have only to read the gospels to see that. Several times he showed the lower ego through human emotions, such as anger, frustration and fear. If you balk at Jesus being afraid, just read the account of the Garden of Gethsemane.
The first miracle recorded in the gospel of John is Jesus changing water into wine at the marriage feast at Cana. The gospel account has the mother of Jesus instigating the “miracle,” however; we recently read that the Greek term that is translated into mother is more usually translated as companion or sister. Hardly the way Jesus would address his mother. But there is one woman that many writings identify as the companion of Jesus, which is Mary Magdalene.
Many authors and scholars have speculated that the Magdalene was a priestess of Isis. Our hypothesis has Jesus being initiated into the mystery school of Isis and being trained in alchemy and magic. We ask if Sophia had incarnated in Mary Magdalene, is it possible that Jesus knew her before his baptism? Could she have joined him shortly after? The New Testament is silent on how Jesus came to meet the Magdalene and quite remiss in keeping all the Marys straight from one gospel to the next. She is first mentioned in the synoptic gospel of Luke. In 8:2, the writer of Luke, after saying “certain women” had been cured of possession in which he includes Mary Magdalene; he adds that Jesus exorcised seven devils from her. The author then grants that these women “ministered unto him of their substance.” In our studies we had discovered that the Greek term for minister is diakones, from which the word deacon derives.
Previously we said that Jesus was chosen to be anointed for his mission. Interestingly the writer of Luke is the only gospel that places Jesus’ anointing early in his work. All the other gospel writers place this event at Bethany just before the crucifixion. However, the gospel of John has “a Mary” performing the anointing. There is a curious comment in parenthesis in the chapter before the anointing in John. John11: 1 has after introducing Lazarus of Bethany, his sisters Mary and Martha (“It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick”). This is curious, not only does Matthew, Mark and Luke have Simon’s house in Bethany where the anointing takes place, but also there is no mention of Lazarus or his sisters at the anointing. Yet in three of the gospels Matthew, Mark and John, Jesus uses the same words in addressing the disciples’ concerns over the use of such expensive ointment (Spikenard) for the anointing: “For ye have the poor with you always” (Mark 14:7) “For ye have the poor always with you” (Matthew 26:11) “For the poor always ye have with you” (John 12:8).
Our question was why would the messiah need anointing for his burial? Being anointed in biblical times signified Divine endorsement. Surely this had already occurred at the baptism? However, if the anointing was to prepare the body for transformation, it makes sense. This would in any case make the anointer of great importance. Was this why the author of the gospel of John wanted to credit this important act with the younger sister of Lazarus and Martha?
Since in the gospel of Luke Mary Magdalene is mentioned for the first time immediately after the “sinner” who anoints Jesus with precious ointment, history has branded her as the penitent sinner. Was Mary Magdalene’s anointing of Jesus signifying the reconnection between the Christ and Sophia? As for the reference to exorcizing seven devils, today many authors see the reference to the seven devils being exorcized as referring to the seven main chakras.
To return to the “miracle” at Cana, if the person who instigates the event is Mary Magdalene and she was a priestess of Isis, then she would know that it would be a small thing for Jesus an initiate well schooled in alchemy, to alchemically alter the water to wine.
Because the gospel of John has Mary of Bethany, Lazarus and Martha’s sister anointing Jesus, many have deduced that Mary of Bethany and Mary Magdalene are one and the same person. The Church has encouraged this misidentification. With all due respect, this is an error. Only a priest or priestess could officially anoint someone. The fact of this being an official anointing is confirmed by Jesus in Matthew and Mark with Jesus’ words to the disciples, “Verily I say unto you, where-soever this gospel be preached throughout (in) the whole world, this also that (this woman) she hath done shall be spoken (told) of for a memorial of her” Matthew 26:13 and Mark 14:9. If we turn to Luke 10:40 Martha, presumably Lazarus’ sister since the passage doesn’t say, complains that her sister Mary does not help her to prepare the meal. Logically we ask would anyone expect a priestess to help prepare a meal? We would like to propose that there are two Marys in the story, Mary of Bethany the sister of Martha and Lazarus, and Mary Magdalene the Isis priestess who anoints Jesus.
THE JOURNEY
For Jesus to fulfill his destiny two things needed to occur. The first was John the Baptist needed to depart. The Baptist knew this truth as is shown in his recorded words, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Some would say that this meant John the Baptist arranged his death. Those who believe that everything that occurs is God’s will, would say that Herod Antipas’ decision to behead John was also God’s will, but that theory would deny freewill. So many times people look to the death of loved ones in a senseless act of violence as the fulfillment of some Divine plan. Because good things often occur through tragic events, many people have used this to support the argument that everything that happens is part of the Divine plan. We would suggest that Divinity only inspires or plants thoughts into the minds of people since this action still facilitates free will. Nevertheless, we have discovered that God is the consummate opportunist. Whenever, a dark cloud looms over us, He will inspire whomever, or use whatever He can to bring forth the silver lining. What is more, God had told us categorically “Anything that creates fear, hatred and or division is never of Divine origin.”
The Old Testament records that two individuals did not experience mortal death, Enoch and Elijah. Remembering that Jesus said that John the Baptist was the reincarnation of Elijah, we ask isn’t it possible that John could have translated his body, without experiencing physical death again? This would make the beheading of John the Baptist Herod Antipas responsibility and not any Divine Plan.
After the death of John the Baptist, Jesus takes Peter, James and John to witness the transfiguration. It is during the transfiguration that Jesus reveals his true spiritual essence to his disciples. It is after this event that Peter declares that Jesus is the Christ. Moreover, Jesus was clearer on his mission and who was involved in such. For instance, as stated he knew that John the Baptist had been the reincarnation of Elijah. He also knew how his mission was to be carried out. All the same, it was quite a lot for Jesus to deal with. How did a mortal man deal with the foreknowledge of his horrific death? We can attest to firsthand experience that God only tells you what you can handle. He never overloads you. He knows us very well and only reveals as much information as we can cope with. He simply told Jesus that he would live and to trust Him.
In the gospel of John the writer has Judas Iscariot complaining of the waste of the Spikenard rather than the disciples. The name Judas has come to be the synonym for traitor. Nonetheless, many scholars point out that the gospel account seems to have Jesus instigating the “betrayal.” The gospels report that Jesus knew he was to die, and that after three days he would appear alive to the disciples. After Peter declares Jesus the Christ, almost immediately Jesus castigates him for denying the prophecy of his master’s death, even going so far as to call him Satan, which meant adversary.
A recent documentary on the “betrayal” and arrest of Jesus directs us to the fact that Jesus had the opportunity to escape from the Garden of Gethsemane. In fact as stated earlier he had escaped violence several times previously by “hiding” himself (John 8: 59). Jesus knew that in order to fulfill his mission, he had to be arrested. He even stopped Peter from defending him, telling the disciples if it weren’t meant to happen, he would have twelve legions (144,000) of angels to assist him.
We would like to propose this scenario. What if Jesus approached Judas Iscariot to help him, telling him that in order for him to declare himself the messiah, he needed to be brought before the Jewish authorities? What if he told Judas that no one was to know, including the other disciples? This was because that in order to fulfill prophecy he needed to appear to be betrayed. Psalms 41:9; 55:12-14. Many times the foreknowledge of future events can lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy. Jesus, as a trained Essene master would have been aware of the prophecy in Psalms. Could this have been why he approached Judas Iscariot? Judas was a zealot and saw the culmination of Jesus’ ministry as an earthly king. He had witnessed Jesus’ ability to allude his captors and probably thought Jesus was going to reveal who he was by supernatural means. What if after Jesus was arrested, Judas followed him expecting Jesus to save himself? It must have been devastating for Judas to realize that Jesus was going to be crucified.
To identify your-self as the messiah without proof was considered blasphemy. However, the gospels say that Jesus had proven that he was the messiah several times. Anyone who had traveled with Jesus and witnessed the miracles could have reasonably expected their master to reveal his power. After Jesus was scourged, and it became clear what was going to happen, could Judas have asked, “Why didn’t he show the Sanhedrin his powers? Why didn’t he prove that he was the messiah?”
Something that had puzzled us was why the Jewish authorities didn’t recognize Jesus as the messiah and wanted him dead? The New Testament records “miracle” after “miracle”, but were they? Other writings state there were many healers in the Holy Lands during the first century of the Common Era. For instance, Apollonius of Tyana, a contemporary of St. Paul was known as a healer.
Today, the healing of someone, without medical assistance is seen as a miracle. Yet as we learn that the body is so much more than mere physical flesh and blood, people are achieving remarkable results with holistic medicine. Reiki is a technique often used to assist in healing. The Reiki practitioner stands over the person, holding their hands over the relevant body part, passing energy, which they bring through their hands. Both the practitioner and the patient is involved. Isn’t this like Jesus saying to the person he heals, “Your faith has made you whole.” And so we ask if healing wasn’t proof of messiahship, then why did the Jewish authorities fear Jesus so much? The answer is in Jesus forgiving sins. The people of Israel and Judea did not have compassion for those members of society that were less fortunate. The poor, the sick and the infirmed were seen as deserving of their afflictions because of past sins. That is why Jesus said your sins are forgiven whenever he healed someone.
Despite the disparaging comments the gospel writers make against Judas Iscariot, the fact that he had “the bag” (purse) speaks volumes to us. You don’t give control of your funds to someone you don’t trust. Tradition has that after Jesus is crucified, Judas hangs himself. As the disciples were unaware of the conspiracy, they saw Judas as betraying their master and would have nothing to do with him. Their condemnation after the crucifixion, as much as anything, probably added to the misconception. Is it possible that after the disciples shunned him, Judas left the area and traveled to Damascus?
Regardless, of the story of Judas Iscariot’s suicide by the gospels, the book of Acts may offer another result and also show the workings of divine intervention. In chapter 9 and starting with verse 11, after Saul (St. Paul) loses his sight outside Damascus, a disciple named Ananias receives a vision of Jesus. In the vision Jesus instructs Ananias “Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus:” We would ask, what better way for the compassionate Christ to use this opportunity and teach that even enemies are redeemable? Many times Jesus had said love your enemies. This scenario had Jesus sending his blinded messenger Saul to the house of Judas, a suspected traitor zealot and then sending the frightened disciple Ananias to the same house to heal Saul the Pharisee and possibly bring Judas back into the fold. If the reaction of Ananias to instruction by Jesus is anything to go by, Saul’s reputation for ruthlessly and relentlessly persecuting the followers of Jesus Christ was very widespread. By gathering these chosen vessels of Christ at the house of Judas, Jesus was teaching a very valuable lesson of forgiveness to all. God told us that the reincarnation of Judas has returned in order to correct a terrible wrong. Could the wrong be history’s condemnation of Judas Iscariot?
THE TRIAL
And so we come to the main event, namely the crucifixion. To state that this was horrific is an understatement in the extreme. Debates have flourished for nearly two thousand years over this day. Many speculate whether Jesus actually died on the cross. They point out the relatively short time he hung on the cross – the third hour till the ninth hour, or 9 am till 3 pm. Typically it took days for a person to die from crucifixion. As we stated in The True Philosophers’ Stone, we had puzzled as to why Suzzan experienced the pain in her right side while on the battlements of the castle in Kyrenia, Cyprus spoken of in our first book My Lost Love. After all, the gospels say that Jesus was already dead when the spear was plunged into his right side. The question was answered when we learned of the legend that Longinus, the centurion who pierced Jesus “in the right side” with a spear, was a secret follower of Jesus. The tradition has Longinus mercifully killing Jesus to save him from a prolonged agonizing death. This made sense as medical experts remind us that corpses do not bleed.
The appendix on The Relevance Of The Doctrines Of Rounds And Root-Races Today, stated that an innocent soul was required to release humanity from the Wheel of Necessity or the Law of Karma. Did Jesus end the Law of Karma? Jesus himself said that he came to fulfill the law not destroy it. We believe that Jesus ended the retaliatory part of karma. No longer would individuals who kill have to be killed seven incarnations later. Now karma could fulfill what the Creator/Demiurge intended it to do, help the individual learn from his or her mistakes. The church today completely denies reincarnation, and yet it is obvious that Jesus believed in the rebirth of the soul. Forget the obvious references to John the Baptist being the reincarnation of the prophet Elijah, (Matthew 17: 11-13) and the question of whether the parents of the man born blind had sinned (John 9: 1-2).
Examine what Jesus is saying about Abraham and his references to reincarnation in John 8:56-58. The passage about Jesus existing before Abraham in the gospel of John has done more to support the supposition that God incarnated as Christ Jesus. Even so, we would like to offer another interpretation. It is important to keep in mind that Jesus was dual in nature, with the Christ and Holy Spirit inhabiting his body. Several times in the synoptic gospels Jesus tells us that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a God of the living. This was said for the benefit of the Sadducees, who did not believe in any form of afterlife. By saying that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were alive he was stating that these patriarchs had reincarnated. With this point of view let’s reexamine the scripture in John. In verse 56 Jesus says “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.” Yet in verse 58, he says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” Verse 56 says to us that the reincarnated soul of Abraham knew Jesus. Could he or she (remember that the spirit is genderless) be one of his followers? When he says in verse 58 that he was before Abraham, we would like to offer that this is the Christ/Holy Spirit speaking through Jesus. Obviously both the Christ and the Holy Spirit existed before the universe began. This is why it is important to always remember the duality within Jesus.
Biblical scholars say that the sky darkening during the crucifixion from the “sixth hour” (noon) till the “ninth hour” (3 pm) signifies God reigning down His entire wrath on His son. During this time God abandons His son. It was at some point in this time that Jesus cries “My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Despite the absolute certainty that No Divine Power is capable of wrath, the scholars are partly correct. The darkness symbolized the withdrawal of the Light; the Christ and the Holy Spirit left Jesus the man to face his death alone, hence the anguished cry. All the same, we believe that the merciful Demiurge/Creator moved Longinus to end Jesus’ pain quickly.
Because the crucifixion did not follow normal procedure, (typically the bodies were left to be eaten by carrion) many questioned if Jesus actually died. Of course after the resurrection these rumors became harder to quell. In fact the Apostolic Creed was penned to deal with the problem.
Unfortunately stating that Jesus died and descended to hell brought in the doctrine of eternal damnation. So what really happened? Where did Jesus’ body go? When Paul wrote of Jesus’ descent, (Ephesians 4: 9) the concept of hell did not exist in Judaism. Nonetheless, the Greeks did have a concept of heaven and hell. The former they called the Elysian Fields and the latter was referred to as Hades. The Greeks thought everyone automatically went to Hades at death; some remained in Hades to suffer torment, while those who had lived good lives went to the Elysian Fields to be rewarded. The Church taught that Jesus descended to release the trapped good souls. However, if these “good” souls were already in paradise, why would they need rescuing? If Jesus didn’t descend to rescue the “good” souls, then where did Jesus go? The answer is, into this plane, the future. Remember that in the spiritual realms there is no past, present or future. When Suzzan went into the void to deal with the entity, as was reported in The True Philosophers’ Stone, she had united with Jesus Christ. As was explained, the void is also known as no time. After the crucifixion, Jesus’ soul went to the void and was able to connect to the future on this plane of existence.
Accepting that Jesus’ soul went into the void, did his physical body just disappear or become invisible? To be honest we had asked God the same question. He had directed us to The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. This book is an inspired fictional story about a secret manuscript that reveals nine insights of how to develop special powers that are natural to the human being. The ninth insight is about developing the ability to raise or speed up an individual’s vibration to the extent that they become invisible to those of a lower or slower vibration. Sound familiar? Jesus demonstrated this ability to some extent when he escaped his enemies by becoming invisible. Obviously though, the resurrection was different. God told us some time ago that the soul of Jesus had amalgamated with the Christ and became one Spirit. We understand that sometime after Jesus’ death, the Christ and the Holy Spirit re-entered his body, raising its vibration to the degree that he became pure light. His physical atoms were transmuted so that he could appear anywhere and in any guise. The phenomenon of humanity becoming lighter is a similar process, but the reverse of the fall of certain angels. Today scientific investigation has shown that human beings, despite being 70% water are essentially vibrating energy.
We discovered that the food we ingest affects the level in which we vibrate. The lowest vibration is produced from the flesh of animals, whereas the highest vibration is from fruit. Could this be why so many people are feeling that it is no longer appropriate to eat the flesh of animals? Could this be why Gautama Buddha would eat no meat? Is this how through evolution we become lighter beings? A clear indication that we are energy comes from remembering that a person is considered brain dead when there is no “electrical” activity within the brain. Irrespective of a heart/lung machine keeping the patient breathing and their heart pumping, they are still considered dead.
Recently we were surprised to learn that some investigators believe that there are religious writings that report of two separate angelic rebellions. Angels have been depicted in various forms throughout history, from cutesy cherubs to awe-inspiring huge beings of light, but always in human form. We discovered these beings had once been corporeal or human beings and through enlightenment raised their vibration to become light beings. If we return to the beginning of the universe we can recall that Sophia and the Christ transformed Sophia’s emotions into the four elements of earth, air, fire and water. What is more, Sophia and the Christ caused the creation of the Creator/Demiurge or the God of the Old Testament. It was the Creator/Demiurge that instigated the angelic realm. They were made of the same elements as human beings, only in a more refined, therefore lighter manner. They are also of the Soul Plane and consequently, endowed with souls.The angelic realm has enthralled us for millennia. Its various divisions have generated numerous writings. Obviously, for so many people to believe in angels there must be some substance to the belief. Consequently, we felt that a brief description of the angelic realm was called for. The Old Testament is full of angels interacting with humanity, from Jacob’s Ladder to the two angels sent to warn Lot. As we mentioned, angels have been depicted from cutesy cherubs to awe-inspiring light beings, why such a huge disparity? The reason is because not all angels are equal. We stated that the Demiurge/Creator created the angelic realm, however, he didn’t create all levels of angels. Before the creation or if you prefer the evolution of humanity, the lower layers of the angelic realm did not exist. When the Demiurge/Creator was forming the Soul Plane, he brought forth creative (archons) and administrative (archangels) powers. These were identified with the suffix “im”, such as Elohim, Seraphim and Cherubim. The archangels were formed from early humanity before the “fall.” As humanity evolved, Christ-like teachers taught them how to raise their vibration. This is how humans became angels. The angels were needed to interact with humanity on a physical level. Because they were made from the same elements, when the Demiurge wanted a message given to a person, he could send a messenger (angel) to the person, all the angel had to do was temporarily lower or slow down their vibration.
Another astonishing piece of information we found out was that all spiritual beings along with the human race have free will, and because they are beneath the Veil they are of a dual nature. There is a Jewish legend that the angels were jealous when Yahweh (the Creator/Demiurge or the God of the Old Testament) asked Adam to name the animals. We can remember commenting on the fact that “angels” could be capable of jealousy. Nonetheless, if the Bible is to be believed, the angels are capable of more than one “human” emotion. The Scriptures state that some beings of the angelic realm exhibited the emotions of pride and lust.
Considering the amount of time, in evolutionary terms that the angelic realm had existed, we wondered what caused the sudden rebellion? The answer really amazed us. It has to do with the axiom of (As above so below, and as below so above.) Every ensouled being is linked through the Soul Plane. When the Human Race, with its Divine sparks was altered by an alien race, the entire consciousness of the Soul Plane was affected. Just as the consciousness of every human being is affected by the mass consciousness, every entity beneath the Veil is also affected. Consequently, when humanity became infused with the shadow side of the universe, because of the axiom As above so below, as below so above, the Soul Plane also became afflicted. Because every being beneath the Veil has free will, the angels also have to choose which urges to adhere to, self or selflessness. Obviously some of the beings chose self. That was what has been recorded as the angelic rebellion.
Not believing that a Divine being is capable of punishment like hell, we wondered what happened to the angels that rebelled? Again only recently we discovered that there are several writings that state the rebellious angels were given corporeal bodies. Remember how we said earlier how God told us to think of spiritual forces in terms of energy, this is what we understand occurred. Just as the Christ, with the Holy Spirit raised or speeded up the cells of Jesus’ body, the “fallen angels” affected the opposite by lowering or slowing down their vibration.
To understand the fate of the “fallen angels” we have to remember that although they are of a finer substance, the angels consist of the same substance as human beings. Also, it is important to remember that everything within the universe is essentially vibrating energy.
Most religious minded individuals think of Heaven as being above us and they would be partly right. The Soul plane, of which heaven is a part, vibrates just a little higher than the Earth plane. The Heavenly plane is divided into three subjective levels, which the ancient esoteric teachers named Kama Loka, Avitchi and Devachan. These three planes exist above one another within this plane. All three levels are collectively called the astral plane. The Church taught that there was heaven, purgatory and hell. Devachan represented the highest level and would equate to the Greek concept of Elysian Fields or the Church’s heaven. The reverse of Devachan is Avitchi, which would equate to the Greek concept of Hades or the Church’s Hell. Kama Loka could be conceived as equal to the concept of Purgatory. When a spiritual entity begins to slow down or lower their vibration, they sink lower in the astral plane. Eventually they slow their vibration to such an extent that they can no longer remain in the subjective astral plane and have to take on corporeal bodies in the objective Earth plane. However, it should be stated that as the levels within the astral plane are subjective, the experience in the astral plane is determined by an individuals’ mental conception. The various levels should not be seen as locations for Divine reward or punishment. Your judgment of your life determines whether you reward or punish yourself.
The belief in places of punishment has done more to keep people from God than anything else. So many individuals examine their past actions and judge them as unforgivable. Consequently they feel that as they are already “damned” they may as well enjoy the remainder of their time on Earth. We would remind these individuals of Jesus’ words “Judge not.” This injunction is not only to not judge others but also yourself. It does not matter how bad you think your past actions are, you can still help change the world. All of us without exception have regrets over things we’ve done and said in the past. It is important that you wake up and realize that you are a spirit inhabiting a body and that because this illusion is very seductive; many of us have fallen short of the mark (sinned).
Religion is the start of the path to spirituality. All of the world’s major religions support justice. Where religion and spirituality differ is how we deal with injustice. Even the most radical fundamentalist is opposed to injustice. Like children throwing tantrums by destroying things, they are screaming to be heard. They are looking to their deity (parents) to cure all their ills. Enlightened people must show them that they are heard. Instead of sending soldiers to restore peace to a country, we need to send thousands of unarmed brothers and sisters to work alongside the inhabitants in assisting them to rebuild. Perhaps we could alleviate the problem of overcrowding in the prisons by offering selected individuals the chance to become part of the solution, instead of part of the problem. The only way to silence the rhetoric of the hate mongers is to prove them wrong. What may surprise some people is that the atheistic communists are also struggling on the path to spirituality. Yes, they reject religion, seeing it as the cause of injustice, but they believe in the sovereignty of all people. (Isn’t this the same as seeing the Divine spark in every soul?) They see organized religion as hypocritical. If we look at the religious history, we can hardly blame them; consider the crusades and the inquisition to name but two examples. Unfortunately, the ideals of equality has been usurped by some individuals seeking power and as the saying goes “power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Nevertheless, what most individuals have in common is a sincere wish for equality. The affluent countries need to show the rest of the world, we are aware of their plight and we want to help.
God has told us many times that the key to the mysteries, spoken of by Jesus, Paul and many others, is in the English language, for instance, the words “attention” and “at ease” given to members of the military forces carry a wealth of hidden teaching. When an officer directs his squad to attention, he is requiring them to be alert and observant, they are about to receive vital information. However, often when the senior officer arrives he begins by telling the soldiers “at ease,” meaning relax. Frequently, when a person dies we say that they are at peace, meaning they are no longer suffering. With the instructions “at ease,” despite the modern interpretation of telling the soldiers to relax, originally the military commander was trying to alleviate any fear the soldiers may be feeling. This is the key to discovering the hidden message. If we replace the word ease with peace it takes on a whole new relevance. If a person is at peace/ease, he or she is no longer dis-eased. The scripture in Revelations that asks, “O death, where is thy sting?” is giving us a vital clue. All dis-ease can be alleviated with the eradication of fear. Chinese medicine teaches that all diseases hold a vibration. To become healthy the Chinese believe that we must raise our vibration to vibrate above the dis-ease and leave the dis-ease behind. This applies to all forms of disease including what Western medicine terms as incurable or terminal. When we are at peace, we are no longer in the grip of fear; therefore we are no longer dis-eased. This is what Jesus meant by the peace that passeth all understanding.
As co-creators humanity has been peopling the astral plane with the consciousness of depravity. Every angry, vengeful, envious or murderous thought is released into the ether to affect the world’s consciousness; therefore the Soul Plane. What is worst, if any of these thoughts are voiced then they become endowed with even more force. This is the direct consequence of the power of speech.
The designation enlightened, has traditionally meant those endued or endowed with Divine knowledge. Still, God told us there is another meaning. As previously stated God told us the key to the mysteries is hidden in the English language. A prime example of this is the word light. It has two distinct meanings; one to illuminate and the other meaning is the opposite to heavy. Most often, enlightened is taken to mean taking on secret Divine knowledge, but we think it is more appropriate to consider the meaning as becoming lighter or less heavy. If every thing beneath the Veil is essentially vibrating energy, including spiritual entities, then lightness equates to faster or higher vibration. When the “fallen angels” indulged in the lower emotions, they lowered or slowed their vibration, becoming heavier until they became of matter, with corporeal bodies. The same applies to human beings. Whenever a person is filled with love and compassion (in other words experiencing the peace that passeth all understanding), their vibration is raised, which is often experienced as a feeling of light-headedness and described as being in ecstasy. On the other hand, anger, hatred or fear slows or lowers the vibration, which will result in becoming heavier. It is important to state that angels’ taking on corporeal form is not the result of Divine punishment meted out by the Creator/Demiurge. Instead, it is simply the consequence of the angel’s conscious choice. Could this be one of the meanings to what Jesus intended when he said that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit could not be forgiven? Once a spiritual being rejects the Divine realm, is there no way to return to that plane? Could this explain how some people seem to have no conscience? Do they have no way to redeem themselves? Referring to the appendix on The Relevance Of The Doctrines Of Rounds And Root-Races Today, we are reminded that the outer darkness is the dissolution of the outer layers. Nevertheless, nothing is ever consigned to what the Church calls “eternal damnation.” Those souls that “choose” to deny their true spirits will be trapped in the outer darkness until the universe resets itself. Then they will be given new bodies. Still, everything that made them individuals will be lost and they will have to start from scratch.
If the fallen angels took on human form then how do we explain St. Paul’s’ injunction that we fight not against flesh and blood in (Ephesians 6:12) “but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places?”
Could the spiritual wickedness in high places be relating to the powers of the universe testing humanity? God told us several years ago that the members of the Body of Christ have incarnated at this time to demonstrate the power of Love. We are to demonstrate this not only to human beings but all spiritual powers beneath the Veil, including angels and astrological forces. The only tool the Body of Christ has is altruistic or selfless love; the adversaries have everything else.
Although the adversary has come to be translated into one all-powerful evil, the Devil or Satan originally meant adversary or that which is placed in the way, interestingly in astrology, the planet Saturn plays that very role; coincidence? We should state that the Body of Christ is not restricted to only Christians. Members come from any and all religions and faiths.
Jesus’ statement that “No one goes to the Father, but by me” was informing the human race that only by adopting his words and believing that the kingdom of God was within each individual would it be possible to change the world into a paradise. It is important to remember that the Solar System was chosen through evolution to transmute the elements that contain the Divine sparks back to spirit. As all Christs have taught, this is achieved by becoming selfless.
THE
GATHERING
For almost two thousand years the human race has been fighting the battle against evil, which incidentally is “live” spelled backwards. What this says to us is that anything that is apposed to life can be designated as evil. That would mean that anything that diminishes the life span could be considered as evil. Consequently, not respecting the body as the temporary temple of the Divine self could be considered evil.
Earlier, we mentioned that the allegory of Adam becoming a “living soul” might be referring to the insertion of the spiritual soul. This could be considered as the birth of the conscience or higher self, which although was originally meant to assist humanity in redeeming the Divine sparks, it has also turned out to be the greatest “weapon” in combating the negative side of the universe. The foe or adversary is the lower ego. The real battle is to resist those subtle and sometimes not so subtle urges from the lower ego or counterfeit spirit to be selfish, thinking of yourself and not others.
The previously mentioned appendix stated that between 2004 and 2005 the start of a five-year window would begin. What that means is during this time, the human race would fight the metaphorical battle of Armageddon within their mind using their heart for spiritual discernment. Because this is the Fullness of Time, the astral plane is dissipating. At this time all spiritual forces within the astral plane that have assisted humanity; such as angels and guardian spirits have been asked to release all contact with their charges in order to let us do the work ourselves.
Unfortunately humanity does not escape all outside influence. As was stated in Love the Common Denominator, every thought and emotion is energy and is released into the ethereal or astral plane. Every spiritual entity in the astral plane that does not have humanity’s best interests at heart has lost individuality. Now, every elemental and lower spiritual form has merged into one all-consuming power, which we will call the World Soul, although Animal Soul would be more appropriate. The Emerald Tables of Thoth the Atlantean translated by Doreal relate that there are mythical beasts, which are called the Hounds of the Barrier that guard the exit out of this cycle. According to the tablets only those of the brightest light are able to pass by the hounds. We believe that this is an analogy of the World/Animal Soul. If we remember that in both cases the barrier used is of an animal nature, we can begin to see the role these figures play. Animals are territorial and will defend their territory with their lives. Human beings reflect this behavior by dividing the Earth into different countries, which they feel obligated through patriotic fervor to defend.
It is interesting that although the goal of evolution is to drive the Life Principle to individualization and self-awareness, the objective of involution, or the redemption of the Divine sparks is the reverse. Consequently, only those individuals who no longer see themselves as separate from every other soul will pass by the guard through the door. In other words it is necessary to view ourselves as above all differences, citizens of the planet Earth.
Both the World/Animal Soul and the hounds of the barrier are of the same vibration as the aggressive masculine energy that is connected to the human race through their ego and lower passions. Despite the designation masculine, this energy is not exclusive to men. Women who demonstrate anger, jealousy and ambition or any of the passions connected to the lower ego are exhibiting the same “masculine” energy. Because the World/Animal Soul and Hounds are of the same vibration, they can recognize those individuals that have not transmuted the masculine energy. In addition, this vibrational energy relates to the third or solar plexus chakra.
As we previously stated, every human being has an Achilles heel or weakness. That weakness is of the same vibration as the World/Animal Soul. The World/Animal Soul could be considered as an envelop of selfishness. It grows stronger by people giving into their lower ego or counterfeit spirit; in other words, anything that is not for the greater good. Every thing beneath the Veil is vibrating energy. The frequency at which the World/Animal Soul/Hounds vibrate is connected to this round or cycle, so only those individuals that have raised their vibration can pass the guards to the door to the next cycle. When a person identifies their weakness and initiates direct communication with God, whatever the Divine is to you, they change their vibration. Moreover, by connecting through the heart they defuse or dissipate the World/Animal Soul. Basically, anyone who operates from a place of compassion or selflessness becomes disconnected from it. Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ greatly assisted in the process. Literally millions of people were moved to tears of compassion for Jesus’ suffering, and this is the reason we can change the world. By experiencing compassion, we touch the more painful emotions inside. Then we transmute those feelings by the act of helping and caring for others.
THE REUNION
This is the fullness of time and we have come full circle. Did anyone see the significance of the Olympic Games returning to its birthplace? While watching the Olympic Games, we were struck by the number of men who openly showed emotion. Obviously, this is a sign that it is no longer considered “sissy” to show emotion in public. What a relief.
The film Pay it Forward with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt has a message for what humanity needs to do at this time. Instead of repaying a kindness, which stops there, the story directs us to help another three people, which in turn help another nine people. This signifies progression, which is the goal of spiritual evolution.
It is time for us to follow Jesus’ example. His resurrection showed us the way. When Jesus told Mary Magdalene not to touch him, he was only just starting the process of transformation. This information showed us that after the resurrection he was energy, but also that this energy was unstable at first. Nonetheless, eight days later the energy had stabilized so that he could tell Thomas to place his fingers in the nail-prints and his hand into his side. (John 20: 27) This appears to signify that after eight days it was okay for Jesus to interact with others.
Although Jesus appeared to the disciples in the form they knew in the “upper room”, he often appeared in a guise that they didn’t know. For instance, Mary Magdalene didn’t recognize him at first John 20:15; two of his disciples walked with him on the road to Eamanus without recognizing their master, Luke 24:15-16. Finally, Jesus appears on the shore and is only known by his words, John 21:1-12. What did this mean? It seems to us that Jesus did not have the same physical appearance. By this, Jesus was demonstrating that the soul and spirit are not the physical body.
According to the book of Acts, Jesus remained teaching the disciples for forty days. Yet the New Testament only records a handful of sentences of this time. Still there were writings that recorded the teachings of Jesus after the resurrection. These writings were eventually called heretical and destroyed. Then again the Truth will out, and in 1945 several of these “heretical” writings were discovered in Nag Hammadi, Upper Egypt. Many of the writings had Mary Magdalene taking a leadership role. In fact we learned that she was known by the early Church fathers as the Apostle to the Apostles. An obscure writing called the Pistis Sophia, which means Faith-Wisdom, known as a Gnostic miscellany, contradicts the general opinion of Mary Magdalene. The book contains a discourse between Jesus and his disciples after the resurrection, including Mary Magdalene and other women. The discourse centers on Jesus asking the disciples questions on the repentance and redemption of Sophia. After Mary Magdalene answers Jesus he addresses her in a strange way. “Mary, thou blessed one, whom I will perfect in all mysteries of those of the height, discourse in openness, thou, whose heart is raised to the kingdom of heaven more than thy brethren.” Jesus also refers to Mary Magdalene as “inheritress of the light.”
Before continuing, a salient point needs clarifying. Previously, we stated that there was no past, present or future in the Divine realms, Sophia was instantly restored to her place within the Pleroma after her folly. As we said earlier life began when Sophia separated from her partner What-has-been-willed. Beneath the Veil everything exists in linear time. The period that passed while Sophia experienced fear, grief, ignorance and confusion encompassed the entire existence on the material and soul planes. In other words while in the Pleroma, the episode was a mere blink of the eye so to speak, beneath the Veil, the entire existence of the universe had elapsed. It is almost impossible for a person, whose life span extends to, at the most a little over a century, to conceive of the vast eons of time involved here. The genus Homo of which homo sapien sapiens are the end result has only existed for five million years, so how can any mortal human being conceive of the Great Manvantara, which extends for trillions of years? To put this in perspective, in esoteric terms or manvantaric, a “life of Brahmâ” or the life of the universe consists of four billion, three hundred and twenty million, (4,320,000) multiplied by seventy-two thousand, (72,000) years.
Previously we stated that the Divine powers could not help until the Life Principle developed intellect and self-awareness, and the Creator/Demiurge had developed mercy or compassion. It was then that the Christ and Sophia could begin to wake up the dormant sparks. They did this by teaching humanity of their spiritual origins through the Wisdom Religion, the esoteric base beneath all the world’s main religions. Despite the confusion with Jesus’ teachings, he was the culmination of this process. The Gnostics reported that Jesus taught his disciples of the fall of Sophia. If we remember the myth of Sophia incarnating in Mary Magdalene we can see why he would use the epithet “inheritress of the light” with respect to her, related in Pistis Sophia. Jesus the Christ teaching Mary Magdalene was symbolic of Sophia’s redemption. This is another instance of the axiom “As above, so below, as below, so above,” which is demonstrated through Mary Magdalene being the earthly counterpart to Sophia.
The famous axiom As above, so below, as below, so above was thought to mean that everything that happens on the material plane occurs on the spiritual plane and vice versa. However, we think it should be thought of in terms of balance. Earlier we mentioned that the Gnostic emanations should be considered as partners of opposites working in unison together. The problem of Sophia separating from her partner, What-has-been-willed caused the creation of the material universe. The pairs in each emanation set up a situation much like dissimilar voltage potentials cause current to flow in an electrical device. So the axiom, As above, so below, as below, so above could be seen as the pattern for the flow of all energy, including matter in search of balance or peaceful equilibrium.
Because of writings such as the Pistis Sophia, many have speculated on the relationship between Jesus and Mary Magdalene, with some deducing that they were married. True the Jewish custom was that a man marry by the age of twenty, nonetheless if Jesus entered the ascetic Essene sect before the expected age, then he would not have had to wed. Could the connection between Sophia and the Christ have led to the supposition that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married? If Sophia was incarnated in Mary Magdalene and the Christ was in Jesus, could this be why some of the legends of them being married have persisted?
The relationship between Jesus and Mary Magdalene has been thought to be carnal because the ancient mystery schools practiced a mystical sexual union (Hieros Gamas) between the high priest and priestess, which represented symbolically, the union between the masculine and feminine deity. They engaged in this sexual union, because they believed that it was the way to connect to the Divine. We would like to present another hypothesis.
If we accept that both Jesus and Mary Magdalene were initiated into the Isis mystery religion, is it possible that Jesus was aware of the practice of sex magic? Could the reference to him exorcizing seven devils from her be referring to this? The purpose of the ritual between an initiated priest and priestess was to raise the Kundalini, which was viewed as a coiled serpent of energy at the base of the spine, from the first or base chakra through all “seven” chakras to the seventh or crown chakra at the top of the head. However, if this ritual was attempted and one or both of the participants was not purified, then instead of raising the wise serpent, the dragon of passion would be raised to dominate the body. We think that whether or not Mary Magdalene knew Jesus, when she learned of his ministry she hurried to his side believing that as Isis initiates they needed to perform the ritual. But when she reached Jesus, he taught her that the goal of the enlightened was to connect to God through the heart, not the physical passions. Although Mary Magdalene went to Jesus to anoint him, like Jesus she was unaware of the deeper spiritual implications and was merely following a blind directive. (Suzzan can totally relate to being moved to actions by nothing more than an overpowering feeling.) Like Jesus and John the Baptist, Mary Magdalene was as equally unaware of the soul she carried or her divine destiny. And so using the axiom of As above, so below, as below so above, Jesus teaching Mary Magdalene was the beginning of the redemption of Sophia.
Early humanity tried to emulate the Divine world by installing a king and queen or emperor and empress to rule their civilizations. Throughout the world myths and legends of gods and goddesses retained the knowledge of the Divine union of Sophia and the Christ. At a subconscious level the Human Race knows of the Divine union, however, they have seen that union only in physical terms. Witness the first generation to be born in the fullness of time (baby boomers) sexual revolution in the 60’s? Then why did St. Paul write that “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God” in 1 Corinthians 15:50? Considering that the risen Christ taught St. Paul, this is quite a statement. By this St. Paul stated categorically that the mystical practice of hieros gamas or Sacred Marriage was not the way to connect to the Divine. So if the Sacred Marriage or Union wasn’t about physical union, what was it about?
The fact that Jesus spoke of the Sacred Marriage gave the advocates for Jesus being married, ammunition. Still we believe that by the Sacred Marriage, Jesus meant the union of spirit and matter, or rather the spiritualization of matter. That is why the ancient symbol for this union is the interlaced triangles or the six-pointed star; the top triangle signifying the descent of Spirit into matter and the lower triangle signifying the ascent of matter to Spirit. Nevertheless, as we stated the ancient rite of hieros gamas (Sacred Marriage) wasn’t about sexual freedom, but rather about Divine Love and the unification of the masculine and feminine.
Recently, God reminded us that there are three Greek words for love Eros, philo and agape. We learned that Eros, which the word erotic derives from represents the three lowest chakras, base, sacral and solar plexus and the five senses i.e. purely physical love. Philo, which philosopher comes from, on the other hand symbolizes the three highest chakras, throat, third eye and crown and the two senses of sight and hearing. Interestingly, philo signifies mental love, which means a mental choice. Unlike Eros where all five physical senses are involved, philo love occurs with a calculated mental choice, which is generated with that which is seen or heard. So much for Eros and philo, what about agape? Apparently, agape love is not generated with either physical sensation or mental calculation, but through compassion. It is also symbolized by the heart chakra. The gospel of John records Jesus saying “greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” From this we understand, agape is completely selfless love. A fireman running into a burning building to rescue a stranger without thought for his own life could be described as demonstrating agape love. All the same, it is through the unification of all three forms of love that constitutes the hieros gamas the Sacred Union or Marriage. It seems relevant that the symbol for the heart chakra, the chakra that lies between the three lowest and the three highest chakras, is a six-pointed star and representative of hieros gamas.
As was stated, in Love the Common Denominator, the universe is divided into Fear and Love. Remembering that God is Love, this means that fear is the opposite or “opposition” to God. You cannot both fear and love God. Fear is the emotion behind every lower emotion. The doctrine of the seven deadly sins was invented to combat this. Fear is behind every one of the listed sins. For instance; the fear of not having enough can lead to someone greedily grabbing more for themselves than they need.
It is through the Sacred Union that the World Soul is dissipated. We said that a more appropriate name was Animal Soul that is because it represents the Kama Rupa or animal soul of the Human Race. As stated according to ancient teaching, the human being has three souls; animal, human and spiritual. The lowest, the animal soul is linked to the Kama Rupa or heart chakra before it is transformed. It is interesting that Jesus taught that we should be concerned of what came out of the heart. Until a person transforms their heart, from fear, anger and hatred to love, forgiveness and compassion, they feed the soul plane with lower vibrations. Everything that isn’t of love cannot rise to the higher or inner planes. Kama Loka is where everything is filtered. Like a sieve allows only the finest particles to pass through it, this location only allowed the purest thoughts and emotions through to Devachan. Now, because this is the Fullness of Time, all of the dross has accumulated in the only layer that remains within the soul plane, the Kama Loka. Within this plane, all less than loving thoughts and emotions, along with all entities that have been misleading humanity and all human souls that have no love or compassion within them, have been combined into the World Soul. War, hatred, and aggression throughout the world, feeds the World Soul. Alternatively, when enough members of the Human Race transform their hearts and minds, through the Sacred Union, following the law of As above, so below, as below, so above, everything within Kama Loka will also transform.
THE LESSON
So what happened to the disciples? Mark 3: 16-18 lists them thus; Simon Peter, James and John Zebedee, the sons of thunder, Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddeus and Simon the Canaanite. Of course Judas Iscariot was listed, but as we’ve already covered his fate we will not include him.
Curiously, only the fate of nine of the disciples was recorded, in The Golden Legend: Readings on the Saints, the most often used authority by the Church, Thaddeus and Simon the Canaanite were not mentioned. The Golden Legend says that Andrew was told to join Matthew in Ethiopia. Later Matthew went to Antioch and Andrew went to Achaia. Tradition has Peter leading the first church in Jerusalem with John and James the brother of Jesus. The Golden Legend makes James the son of Alphaeus, the brother of Jesus. However, the New Testament appears to say that Jesus’ family did not support his ministry at first; see Mark 3:31. Josephus reports of James the Just becoming the head of the Jerusalem church after Jesus departed the scene. Acts relates that Peter traveled extensively with John. In Samaria, Peter and John dispute with Simon Magus. The gospel of John says that John was entrusted with the mother of Jesus. According to the Golden Legend John is reputed to have journeyed to Asia to teach there. James the brother of John was reputed to have taught in Samaria before traveling to Spain to teach. Even so, Acts has James, the brother of John being martyred by Herod Agrippa. Thomas was rumored to have journeyed to India. Interestingly, because vestiges of Jesus’ teachings have been found in India, many formed the supposition that Jesus was there before his baptism. Could this be why? Like Thomas, Bartholomew also went to India. Philip who had been in Samaria went to Gaza, later settling in Caesarea. As for Mary Magdalene, as we’ve already stated, the Church obscured her identity and discouraged the thought of her as a separate individual. The Golden Legend also labels her as Mary of Bethany and has her traveling to Gaul/France. Irrespective of the Church’s misdirection, there are other legends that have Mary Magdalene traveling to Ephesus with the mother of Jesus.
We think that The Golden Legend is probably the main source for Mary Magdalene’s connection to Southern France or ancient Gaul as it was called in Roman times. Despite this, we need to remember that Mary Magdalene wasn’t called the Apostle to the Apostles for nothing. Regardless of the Church making her the repentant sinner, early Christian sects held that she was a teacher in her own right. An interesting comment in Pistis Sophia has Jesus commissioning Thomas, Matthew, Philip and Mary Magdalene to spread his teachings. The reference to Mary Magdalene going to France comes from the deliberate confusion over the identity of Mary of Bethany, Lazarus’ sister. As we said, the gospel of John is the only gospel that says the sister of Martha and Lazarus anointed Jesus. A possible answer to the controversy came when we learned that Lazarus with his sisters Martha and Mary traveled to Gaul with Joseph of Arimethea.
We have read several books recently that speculate that Mary Magdalene was not only Jesus’ wife but that she was also pregnant with his child. According to several authors, that child’s descendents are the Merovian kings and queens of France. We believe this would make the whole purpose of Jesus’ ministry pointless. His fundamental message was to teach that everyone is able to connect with the Supreme Being. With giving Jesus an heir, we make the physical man and his bloodline of more importance than the message. Remember, “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.” Unfortunately, the early Church reverted to their Jewish customs, which was to put great store in bloodlines. Observe the genealogy recorded in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. Because of this custom, immediately after the resurrection, James the Just, the brother of Jesus was declared the new leader of the Jerusalem church. Furthermore, according to Eusebius the Church historian, after James’ death every male member of Jesus’ family was installed as the leader of the Jerusalem Church.
The “heretics” had Peter, Andrew and James taking early Christianity back to its Jewish roots. Mary Magdalene came to represent the Gnostic or non-Jewish side of Christianity. This is interesting, as St. Paul’s writings also seem to be moving Christianity away from Judaism. So why did Jesus Christ call Saul/Paul to God’s service?
Acts has Jesus ascending after teaching his disciples for forty days. Immediately after the Holy Ghost or Spirit is poured out. In Acts it appears that the Spirit only fills the twelve disciples assembled in the “upper room”, and later refers to them as Apostles. They then impart the Holy Spirit/Ghost to others by the laying on of hands. However, St. Paul seems to say that all believers receive the Holy Ghost/Spirit.
The gospel of John reports that Jesus promised the disciples that he would ask the Father to send “another comforter.” The Greek word for Comforter is Paraklētos, which literally means, “One called alongside to help.” The Church has interpreted this passage as the coming of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost, and they are partly right. Because the Divine sparks are hidden within humanity and the Supreme Being emanated the Holy Spirit, the Comforter is the Holy Spirit that resides in each individual’s heart. This is the connection that links us to God and helps each human being make the best decision. It is fully activated by an act of selflessness or compassion. Still, if we read Jesus’ description of the Comforter, it is obvious to us that he was referring to an actual person: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
After St. Paul’s’ conversion Acts says that the disciples of Jerusalem were afraid of him and it wasn’t until Barnabas took him to the Apostles and reported Paul’s preaching that he was accepted. (Acts 9: 26-27) If we recall, Jesus appeared to his disciples in such a way that they did not recognize him. Saul/St. Paul arriving in Jerusalem repeating Jesus’ words must have given them pause for thought. Could the disciples have wondered if Saul was Jesus returned?
The description of “the third member of the Trinity” has caused a great deal of confusion. We have spent many hours attempting to ascertain the difference. The answer, when it came was so simple; it is all to do with the difference between the words spirit and ghost. Most people understand that the “unseen” spirits of departed loved ones are with them, watching over them. Whereas, the haunting of a ghost is described often as a filmy/shadowy specter or ghost that is “seen” by the living. Acts describes Pentecost as flames settling on the disciples’ heads, in other words something that could be seen. This was the Holy Ghost that tangible force that empowered them to heal and speak to the populace of all lands. The Holy Spirit is the Divine energy that was poured out on all humanity at Pentecost. The Holy Ghost could be seen as the designation for the Holy Spirit in physical form or when “she” is infused in a person, as occurred with Jesus and Saul/Paul and the disciples at Pentecost. However, we need to remember that after Jesus’ baptism the Holy Spirit reunited with the Christ, consequently, both Jesus and Saul/Paul became infused with the Divine partnership.
In the second book Love the Common Denominator: My Journey to the Truth, it was reported that the pseudo Clementine Homilies likened Saul/St. Paul to Simon Magus. The Homilies accuse Simon Magus of crimes that the Jerusalem disciples later accuse Paul of. What we were surprised to discover was that the woman who traveled with Simon, Helen, was likened to Mary Magdalene. Could this have been the reason why the reincarnations of St. Paul and Mary Magdalene were brought together?
The realization that St. Paul could have been “One called alongside to help” had come to both of us early on. The visions we both received were the two of us together in ancient times, reported in My Lost Love. Craig is absolutely certain that Saul/St. Paul would have sought out Mary Magdalene as she was the first person to see Jesus after the resurrection.
If St. Paul did travel with Mary Magdalene, why did the Church attack them under the names of Simon and Helen? Many Gnostics claim that they take their teachings from Paul. In fact, Valentinus claimed to have been taught by Theudas a disciple of St. Paul. The whole premise of the Gnostics was one of self-responsibility. Gnosticism held that Jesus showed us the way. Salvation is in our hands. At the time of St. Paul, the Jerusalem Church was gaining both converts and wealth. If Gnosticism had prevailed there would have been no need for a hierarchical Church.
THE
FULLNESS OF TIME
Almost two thousand years ago the Universal Christ and Holy Spirit together with Sophia, put into motion through Jesus and Mary Magdalene, the means to end suffering. When Jesus sacrificed his life, he ended the law of an eye for an eye; a life for a life. By revealing humanity’s true origins, he gave us the tools to change this world. Until then the prophets taught people to fear God and worship became synonymous with appeasing the wrath of God. Jesus, with the Christ and Holy Spirit, taught how to transcend suffering through selflessness and compassion. He demonstrated with his actions how we should show compassion rather than judgment for our fellow human beings. To bring the kingdom of God into the world takes selfless Love, then God is truly present.
We have said that many people have wanted to help, but have felt helpless because they are only one person. We would say to them that all change begins with one person. Witness Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Junior’s achievements. If we always keep in mind that we are energy and consciousness, we will realize that one person can affect the mind and heart of the planet. Still if we examine the Gnostic belief that the Christ, together with Sophia transmuted her emotions of fear, grief, ignorance and confusion into the four elements, we can see how this world can change. As was stated earlier, philosophers divided the material universe into Love and Fear, consequently; when a person let’s go of fear, they fill their heart with Love.
The Gnostics believed that salvation came through gnosis. As was reported in our third book The True Philosophers’ Stone, this is most often translated into knowledge, but we feel a more appropriate translation is, knowing. With knowing our true origins, ignorance and confusion disappear. In addition the grief of separation from God also disappears. Furthermore, if Irenaeus, the great Church father and heresiologist, is right when he states that the Gnostics believed that all evil originated from grief, then “evil” would also be transmuted. The key is releasing fear. When we consider that the main constituent of all living beings is water and that Sophia’s fear was transmuted into water, we can see why releasing fear would change the world.
The consciousness of humanity is connected. We experienced this connection immediately after 9/11 when we were all linked through suffering. This connection did not last because the shock and horror eventually dissipated. Obviously anyone who witnessed the tragedy or lost friends or loved ones in the attacks will have the vision forever burned into their consciousness. Nevertheless, the rest of the world “witnessed” the horrific events on television. Unfortunately, through watching horror movies and atrocities on the nightly news, many have become numb to the suffering of others. We are not for one minute comparing the terrible events of 9/11 with watching a movie, we just want to give you a visual analogy to explain our point. Still, there were a number of individuals among the witnesses and many people who didn’t personally see the attacks that felt genuine compassion for not only the victims of the attacks but also the families of the hijackers. This is key because their compassion was for all concerned and therefore had a stronger impact on the world’s consciousness. These people effected the powerful connection nearly everyone experienced. Alas, the constant reporting of the risk of another attack quickly turned this compassionate connection to fear for those that only felt for the victims of the attacks. For this reason the world soon regenerated into fear, with all the emotions and feelings that go with it, such as; anger, hatred, vengeance and judgment. Whenever we experience compassion it takes a great deal fewer individuals to affect change. Gary Zukav in the Seat of the Soul says that the world reflects the consciousness of humanity. For instance if the majority of people are feeling hatred and anger, that is translated into wars and violence. Conversely, if the majority of people have compassion for their fellow human being, that is what is reflected in the world.
Every soul born between 1945 and 1983 has returned at this time not to balance their personal karma, but to assist in the spiritual evolution of the Human Race. We mentioned earlier that the baby boomer generation was the first souls to mature. Whenever we think of the sixties, hippies and the flower children come to mind. Despite the historians making the flower children synonymous with the revolution of sex, drugs and antiestablishment, these young people were trying to teach the world a valuable lesson. The communes that they founded showed that if we stopped focusing on our differences, we could live in harmony with both nature and each other. Another thing this generation taught the world was that the power of the people is in their voices and not their fists. Of course there were some individuals connected to the movement that were bent on violence, nevertheless, the majority of young people advocated peaceful demonstration. Those hippies and flower children are in their fifties and sixties now and need to be reminded of the goal they held true during the summer of love. The ideals they held during this time were the ideals taught by all the Christ-like teachers throughout history. When their dreams were not realized, the hippies and flower children faded into obscurity believing that the dream could never be realized in their lifetimes. Many settled into their conventional lives helping the dream by supporting the various charities and thank God for them. Without the charitable organizations, the plight of the poor, sick and disenfranchised would be a great deal more serious. Unfortunately charities only relieve the symptoms without curing the disease. This is tantamount to putting a band-aid over a festering wound, the wound looks clean from the surface but underneath the infection is growing. When God told us to form the I.D.E.A Foundation for the Benefit of Humanity, we understood that rather than relieving symptoms we were to work to cure the disease. The most deadly diseases that affect the world are indifference, apathy, greed and selfishness. The world was not ready to rip the band-aid off during the sixties, but this is the fullness of time and it is now the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.
Considering the ideals of such a large number of individuals during the sixties it is hard to understand what happened. It wasn’t until we learned of the importance of astrology in evolution that the light went on for us. There are three major transitions in a person’s life astrologically speaking. The Saturn Return, which occurs when the planet Saturn returns to the position it was at your birth, this event happens around twenty-nine years of age. Between the age of thirty-eight and forty-four years old, the Uranus Opposition occurs, when the planet Uranus is in the exact opposite position to where it was at your birth. The third transition is a relatively recent innovation, as Chiron wasn’t discovered until 1977. An individual reaches their Chiron Return around the age of fifty when the planet Chiron returns to the position it was at your birth. It is because of the extended longevity of the Baby-Boomers that this is the fullness of time. According to astrology, a person does not understand their purpose for existence until their Uranus Opposition. These transitions are major stages in astrological terms, however, until the twentieth century, only a small amount of the population lived above forty years of age. We do not believe that the generation that spawned the hippie movement has completely forgotten the feeling of being able to achieve anything; because of your age, now you can. It is time to step forward again.
Oh yes, and you
remember how we started with the good news?
Well, here is the flip side. It
needs to be a big step that changes the way you see the priorities in your life
stacked up. It will become the
single most, all-consuming priority of your spiritual existence in this major
cycle. One will have to lose the body-brain life that we are deluded into
believing is what we are, for the spirit-eternal life that we truly
are—“lose your life to gain it.” This
does not mean you have to literally die. Spirit
will not sustain existence by doing what you want, but by wanting what you do
each moment in existence to sustain spirit.
This evolutionary jump demands it and the culling process in place is
that very box we know as day-to-day existence or business as usual.
We must be able to get out of it to move on.
It is interesting when you consider the millions of people born during this time that only 777,000 people becoming compassionate are needed for Jesus Christ to reappear. More than two Billion people were born during this time (2,213,012,000). Even if we halve the number, (1,106,506,000) allowing for early deaths, we are still left with more than one billion souls as potential members of the body of Christ. 777,000 is less than one percent (0.7030%), so why so many souls for so small a percentage? The answer is because of the seduction of the world many souls become immersed in the illusion and never remember why they were born.
We asked God the question, are only people born between 1945 and 1983 involved in assisting the spiritual evolution? The answer we received was that everyone alive at this time has the opportunity to become a member of the Body of Christ or the 777,000. In fact everyone on Earth who will be over the age of twenty-one by 2012 is being asked to choose whether they want to be either part of the problem or part of the solution. Children, irrespective of them being old souls are subject to their parents. Having said that, there are exceptional children on the planet today who have chosen to be born at this time. The reason they elected to be below the age of consent (21) at the end of the cycles is because they are here for those that through confusion, indecision, and fear get left behind. Parents of these children, irrespective of their destination can help by being an example to them. It is important to always remember that although the soul of the child may be old and wise, it is still encased in the mind and body of a child, and just like all children needs to be guided with discipline and clear boundaries.
Jesus said he would return at the fullness of time. The fullness of time was when enough souls had evolved to start the spiritualization of matter. When Jesus reappears, he will do this in a very public arena, where there are television cameras. This is what he meant when he said, the son of man will appear, like lightning flashes from the east to the west. Remember there was no satellite TV in the first century.
It is up to each individual. No one can do it for you. You must decide for yourself, whether you believe people can change the way they think and become selfless or whether humanity is hopelessly selfish. We believe in the former. Given the chance most people will rise to the occasion, will you? J.F.K said in one of the most famous speeches, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” We would go one further and say; Ask not what the world can do for you, but what you can do for the world.
