INFORMATION
At this time we have been gifted an opportunity that other
filmmakers have been trying to get for quite some time.
Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj is the head of the National
Mayan Council of Elders of
Guatemala, Day Keeper of the Mayan Calendar, a 13th
generation Quiche Mayan High Priest, a
Grand Elder of the Continental Council of Elders & Spiritual Guides
of the Americas, and an international lecturer on Mayan Culture.
He is charged as the primary keeper of the teachings, visions,
& prophecies of the Mayan people. Don Alejandro has asked Producer
and Filmmaker Steve Copeland to document his life’s story, the
sacred saga of Maya creation, & ancient prophecies
that are being fulfilled at this very moment. The Maya have a
very timely message for us!
Don Alejandro “El Maestro” has not allowed a camera to
document the true story of his life, let alone capture the preserved
sacred wisdom and knowledge of his Mayan Ancestors.
He believes his story and the Maya’s verbal tradition has major
significance to events transpiring now, and must be heard immediately on
a grand scale. His
friendship, trust, and belief that Copeland can deliver the message in
an appropriate way has lead the Mayan Council to gift him the honor of
documenting this amazing story.
Don
Alejandro has been sent as a messenger by the Council of Invisible
Beings to warn the world that we are at
a critical crossroads for the future of our Earth.
The message is simple and clear: we must change the way we live
NOW. And since we are no longer
in the Mayan’s so called “period of Darkness” or “Period of the
Nine Hells”, it is time to travel the world with messages and
prophecies. One Prophecy says: "Arise, all arise, not
one nor two groups be left behind”.
Another one says: "Let the morning come, let the dawn
come for the people to have peace and be happy, together we are to see
our children; together we are to see our mountains; together we are to
see our cities; together we are to see our waters.”
His message resonates with people of
all faiths and beliefs across
the globe. Recognized as a messenger before his birth, he was
trained in the traditional way to work with the elegant mathematics of
the Mayan Calendar leading up to the Mayan year “Cero”, or 2012 in
Gregorian calendar. There are some who have interpreted this
feature of the Mayan calendar as a sign of the end of the world in 2012.
So what is this end of the world in 2012 stuff really about, and does
anybody care what the Mayans have to say about it?
Mel
Gibson cares! After producing and directing the most successful
independent film of all time, "The Passion of the Christ",
Gibson has prepared yet another blockbuster entitled "Apocalypto,”
(in Greek the title means "an unveiling and a new beginning.")
The film revolves around the ancient and highly evolved Mayan
civilization. It is filmed
entirely in the Mayan language, and its’ cast consists of local
indigenous Mayan actors. The
film is planned for release this summer and is to be distributed by The
Walt Disney Co. in the US.
Obviously
there is an increasing interest in the Mayan message today. This can
easily be seen in recent television programming by The Discovery
Channel, TLC, National
Geographic and the History Channel where the
Maya have taken a center stage focus. This explosion of interest has led
to a strong demand for new content and fresh documentaries.
THE
MAYAN CALENDAR CONNECTION
Don Alejandro speaks of vast and repetitive cycles of time
contained within the Mayan Calendar.
"The Mayan
calendar never has been,
nor will be, altered,
because it is based on the stars,” he states.
Our unwieldy western counterpart, the Gregorian calendar, on the
other hand, has been changed many times and is still not accurate.
Don Alejandro also says: "The Calendar’s knowledge was
bequeathed to the Maya by the Abuelos, the grandfathers, who came from
the stars."
The
Mayan calendar has even broader and more profound implications.
As the true meaning of the calendar is solved, it becomes clear
that we are living in a creation that evolves according to a pre-set
schedule. The Maya kept track of the flow, rate, and intent of Creation
itself, or the evolution of consciousness throughout Creation.
You have heard that history repeats itself.
This is now a proven fact. There
is a repeating pattern to all of Creation.
Quantum physics has proven this over and over in the organization
of matter. There is a pattern of intentions and of events as well.
According to the Mayans, we, or rather Consciousness, has been
down this same road four times
before. There are scheduled impulses of Creation that are affecting
global events right now and will continue through the next
few years until this cycle ends. December 21, 2012, is the date
we have all heard about.
Alejandro will explain why there is no exact date. He plans to
clarify this in detail for the world’s consideration.
The
Mayans were an advanced people. They were superb mathematicians &
astronomers who devised one of the most accurate calendars known to man,
far more accurate than the modern Gregorian calendar we use today. The
Mayan Calendar was devised through extremely accurate observations of
the sun, the planets, the stars and the Milky Way galaxy. Mayan
astronomers knew, through yet unknown methods, the exact location of the
center of the Milky Way along with many other precise details of our
cosmos.
With
the aid of advanced technological instruments and powerful telescopes,
modern astronomers have learned that the
center of the Milky Way galaxy contains an immense "black
hole" which is constantly giving birth to, and swallowing, stars.
The Mayas had a glyph that represented a "black hole" in the
center of our galaxy! How
they were able to know this has been lost in time. The Mayans possessed
an advanced understanding of "Precession of the Equinoxes"
that is necessary to create this accurate calendar. There is no question
that the Mayans had a completely different perspective of time than
modern man. The westeners of today view time in a progressive, linear
fashion, referencing past & future to dictate the present. The
Indigenous Natives of yesterday perceived time as an ever-changing
moment, like an “organismic kaleidoscope” of life force possibility.
The Mayans were able, through deep meditation, to exit the construct of
time and access wisdom and knowledge to for-tell future events.
The
Mayans approached "prophecy" by deeply studying the
periodicity of the cycles, especially astronomical cycles, and their
synchronicity to human events. They were deeply spiritual and very aware
of the role human consciousness plays in connecting to, and obtaining
information from, nature. They knew that ingesting certain plants,
religiously and with reverence, would open the doors of perception and
lift the veil that keeps mankind from seeing certain realities and
communicating with God. Quartz
stones were also used for this purpose.
This knowledge explains how they were
able to ascertain what will happen
at the end of this cycle, the Fourth Period of the Sun. Incredibly,
they knew there will be an astronomical alignment of the
Earth and other planets, and we will enter into the center of the
“black spot” or Central Magnetic Axis in the Milky Way.
This will mark the year
“Cero". At this time there will be a period of darkness for
60 to 70 hours. After that we will see light again and this will
be the beginning of a new sun or the 5th Sun..
The
Mayans state that this period
(our period) will end the 4th cycle of our world, and it will die
by fire and be reborn in a new, different, and more evolved form. This
will be the beginning of the “Fifth Sun”. These stories sound very
similar to the Prophecies of many other religious and ancient traditions
around the world. Traditions from near and far point to this time as a
time of major transition. Before this “Shift of the Ages” (as it is
known) happens, the Prophecy of the Eagle & Condor must be
fulfilled.
THE
PROPHECY OF THE EAGLE
AND THE CONDOR
This
age old Prophecy, according to Don Alejandro, states that:
“Those of the Center will unite the Eagle of the North with the
Condor of the South”. “We
will meet with our brothers & sisters because we are one, like the
fingers of the hand”.
This
prophecy foretold an unbalance & tremendous conflict throughout the
Americas from 1500 – 2000CE. During this time the Eagle has driven the
Condor almost into extinction. The Eagle represents the modern
technological world that has developed an intellect at the expense of
the heart. These people have developed technology to an extraordinary
level, bringing them material wealth beyond their wildest dreams. But
they find themselves spiritually impoverished to the point of their own
peril. The people of the Condor represent the indigenous people of the
world living close to the land, with the heart and wisdom that come from
being attuned to the natural world.
With their heart comes an unparalleled depth of spirituality and
wisdom that is an expression of their profound connection to nature.
These people are spiritually rich but materially impoverished.
The forces of the developed world now threaten their environment
that they depend on for their material and spiritual sustenance.
Don Alejandro states that “They must understand and develop
some of the intellectual skills of the Eagle, without
loosing the Heart"
According
to the prophecy of the Eagle and Condor, we are at the beginning of a
time when the Condor will rise and once again fly together, wing to
wing, in the same sky as the Eagle, and the world will come into
balance. It is a time of
partnership, love & healing; and a transition out of an era of
conflict & turmoil, into more sustainable and earth-honoring ways.
It will be a time of great transition, but also great danger.
The Condor will not soon forget the domination of the Eagle. The
Eagle must also change to help restore this balance.
THE
FULFILLMENT OF
THE
PHOPHECY
Don
Alejandro’s ancestral
lineage has passed a very Sacred and powerful Staff down through 13
generations. It is a symbol of authority used to strengthen the
organizers of the Summit of “International Congress.”
The International Congress is a large Summit of Indigenous Native
Elders from around the world dedicated to facilitating the fulfillment
of the Eagle and Condor Prophecy. They have met at a string of
events that started in the mid 1990’s. The Mayan’s Sacred Staff is
used in the preparation and empowerment of the International Congress.
In
1995 the first meeting of the International Congress was organized by
Don Alejandro in his home country of Guatemala (each Summit has a Head
Elder responsible for the organization of the ceremonies). This
particular event brought over 200 Native elders together in ceremony to
release the “bonded sacred feminine” (suppressed female energy)
initiating the fulfillment process of the Eagle and Condor Prophecy.
Approximately three years later in the Amazon the Sacred Staff was given
to, and used by, the Native Elder responsible for organizing the second
Summit. This event attracted over 500 Elders drawing world interest. The
Staff was then escorted to New Mexico in 1997
for preparation of a gathering in the North.
Then
in 1999 the Continental gathering of indigenous elders took place in Ojo
Caliente, Canoncito and Nambe in New Mexico. At this time
Maestro Valentin Mejillones, the high priest of the “Aymara Nation”
in Bolivia requested to host
the next gathering in Bolivia. His request was granted, and in the
following year, 2000, Valentin called for the fourth gathering of
Indigenous Elders. However, due to a lack of Elder presence, the event
was not accepted by the Continental Council of Elders. Valentin then
asked to keep the Staff for one more year to put together a gathering in
the right way. His petition was granted, and at almost 7 years later he
still hasn’t organized his proposed event. According to Don Alejandro
and the Mayan Council, the Staff, for the benefit of humanity, MUST keep
moving. It has been unavailable for ceremony. It needs to get to the
organizers of the next International Gathering of Elders Immediately!
