Words of wisdom worth pondering

"Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interest of others. 

 Have this mind among yourselves, which you have in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the

 form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself,

 taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 

 And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, 

even death on a cross.  Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name 

which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven 

and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

 to the glory of God the Father.  

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence 

but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation 

with fear (deep reverence and respect) and trembling (awe and wonder); 

for God is at work in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure."

If you think you know it well,
only slightly do you know the form of God.
What refers to you and what refers to the gods
then is to be investigated by you.

I think it is known.
I do not think that I know it well,
nor do I think that I do not know it.

And He (God) will teach him (Jesus) the Book, the wisdom, the Torah, the Gospel 

and make him a Messenger to the children of Israel saying, 

“I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. 

I will create for you out of clay as the likeness of a bird; 

then I will breathe into it, and it will be a bird, by the power of God. 

I will also heal the blind and the leper and bring to life the dead, by the power of God. 

I will inform you too of the things you eat, and what you treasure up in your houses. 

Surely in that is a sign for you if you are believers. 

Likewise I will confirm the truth of the Torah that is before me, 

and to make lawful to you certain things that before were forbidden unto you. 

I have come to you with a sign from your Lord; so fear God, and obey me. 

Surely God is my Lord and your Lord; so serve Him. 

This is a straight path".
